Thinking beyond THE BASICS

elearning: noun - “learning conducted via electronic media, typically on the Internet.”

We learn through experience.

It’s how most of us develop and grow in both our personal and professional lives. eLearning should be more like that - learning through experience, rather than simply wading through content, hoping something sticks.

I help develop immersive eLearning experiences that engage users. I want them to explore and experience the learning path in a more nuanced and natural manner. Gone are the days of content, content, content, quiz. People want to learn by exploring, practising, making mistakes, getting feedback and learning solutions, again and again.

This is why it is so vital to collaborate at an early stage and communicate the goals of each learning experience. You probably have most of the material already – content, storyboard, graphics, video, and assessments but need some assistance in putting it all together.

Systems Training - Real world simulation

Systems training is the process of educating individuals on how to operate, maintain and make best use of complex systems, such as software. Practical systems training gives employees the skills and knowledge to use the system productively.

In this module, the Driver Machine Interface (DMI) was recreated within Storyline and used as an interactive tool to help train drivers (pun intended) get up to speed with the latest developments within the TfNSW network.

Allow me to help develop your course towards the right goal.

Please take a look at some demos of modules I have created recently.
