What challenges you, changes you.

elearning:
noun - “learning conducted via electronic media,
typically on the Internet.”

We learn through experience.

It’s how most of us grow and develop in both our personal and professional lives. eLearning should be more like that - learning through experience, rather than just navigating content and hoping something sinks in.

I help develop immersive eLearning experiences that engage users. I want them to explore and experience the learning path in a more nuanced and natural manner. Gone are the days of content, content, content, quiz. People want to learn by exploring, practising, making mistakes, receiving feedback, and learning solutions, all over again.

This is why it’s so important to collaborate early and share the goals of each learning experience. You probably already have most of the material – content, storyboard, graphics, video, and assessments – but might need some assistance putting it all together.

TAKE A LOOK.

Please take a look at some demos of modules I have created recently.

Systems training is the process of educating individuals on how to operate, maintain and make best use of complex systems, such as software. Practical systems training gives employees the skills and knowledge to use the system productively.

In this module, the Driver Machine Interface (DMI) was recreated within Storyline and used as an interactive tool to help train drivers (pun intended) get up to speed with the latest developments within the TfNSW network.

Systems Training - Real world simulation

This video demonstrates a series of interactions within an eLearning module designed for process training. It highlights the interactivity of Articulate Storyline 360 in delivering an engaging learning experience that mimics real-world usage.

The module was developed to help new (and existing) employees of Zurich learn and adopt the BEAM process, a core value system designed to ensure all staff and management uphold the highest ethical standards in their daily routines.

The user was taken through a typical day, making complex decisions in a gamified manner that rewarded correct decision-making.

ONBOARDING - A DAY IN THE LIFE

Articulate Storyline is a powerful e-learning authoring tool that allows users to create interactive and engaging online courses. It's part of the Articulate 360 suite and is known for its flexibility, allowing for the creation of a wide range of learning experiences, from simple quizzes to complex simulations.

This module was developed as a template for HealthShare to enable staff to train on using the newly implemented StaffLink Requisitions and Receiving (STARR) app, which facilitates the ordering and receiving of stock. The app utilises QR/barcode scanning on regular mobile devices to place orders, providing information on backorders and substitute details.
