Some background

My name, Diarmaid (Irish: [dʲiəɾˠ.mˠədʲ] - sounds like Deer-mid) is an old Gaelic name which apparently means ‘without envy’, but I’m completely okay with being known as “D”.

I am based in Bellingen, a beautiful town based on the north mid-coast of New South Wales. Thanks to the miracles of modern science I am able to provide services to clients who are based all round the world via online communications.

I have nearly 25 years of professional visual communications experience. Throughout my career in graphic design I have worked in a variety of positions on numerous and varied print/multimedia projects for a wide range of clients and companies; from the small and intimate through to large blue-chip corporates.

In recent years I have focused on eLearning development. I have developed approximately 80+ eLearning projects for a variety of clients utilising tools such as Captivate and Articulate Storyline 360.

I have a good working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Ableton Live, Adobe Audition, QuickTime Pro, Adobe Animate (formerly known as Flash) as well as HTML and CSS and extensive Storyline 360, Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
